Cucukan Uppers is a terrifying slab break sitting just north of the main Cucukan break. It is widely considered the heaviest wave in Bali.
A thick, mutant right-hand slab that detonates over extremely shallow coral. The lip throws well ahead of the wave face, creating cavernous but incredibly dangerous barrels. Only rideable at specific tides and swell angles. Professional-level wave.
Wet season (October-March) with solid SE swells at 6ft+. Very specific tide window. Only breaks a handful of days per year at optimal conditions.
