Ketewel is a ferocious right-hand reef break at a river mouth, producing some of the fastest, most hollow waves on Bali's east coast.
A fast, sucky right breaks over extremely sharp coral at the river mouth. The wave jacks up and throws hard, creating intense barrel opportunities. Only works at high tide when the reef has enough coverage. Expert-only due to the speed and shallow bottom.
Wet season (October-March) with solid SE swells. High tide only - the reef is dangerously shallow otherwise. W-NW offshore winds.
