Tanjung Benoa is a reef break at the tip of the Benoa peninsula, offering long rides with some of the strongest currents in the area.
Both lefts and rights break over coral reef, with rides exceeding 200m possible. The wave has good shape and moderate power. The main challenge is the dangerous currents that sweep around the point, demanding strong paddling ability.
Wet season (October-March) with SE swells. Mid to high tide. W-NW offshore winds. Needs moderate swell to be worth the current.
