Padma is one of the highest-quality beach breaks in the Kuta-Legian stretch. Named after the Padma Resort, this spot has hosted surf competitions thanks to its reliable, well-shaped waves.
Quality A-frame peaks break over shifting sandbanks. The waves here are more powerful and better-shaped than most of the surrounding beach. On its day, Padma produces hollow barrels that rival reef breaks. Both lefts and rights offer good rides.
Dry season (April-October) with 3-5ft SW swells. Works on all tides but mid is most consistent. Morning offshore conditions are the window.
