Green Bowl is a secluded surf spot on the Bukit's south coast, requiring a descent of 300+ steps to reach two distinct waves.
Two separate breaks work here: a right-hander on the south side and a left on the north, separated by a deep channel that serves as a safe paddle-out zone. Both waves break over coral reef with good power and shape. The right tends to be longer and more consistent.
Works in both seasons depending on swell direction. SW swells feed the right; SE swells light up the left. Mid to high tide. Light winds from any direction work due to the cliff shelter.
300+ steep steps from the cliff-top parking area. Few facilities at the beach. The bat cave at the base of the cliff is a notable landmark.
