Racetrack is the speed section of the Uluwatu complex, living up to its name with some of the fastest waves on the Bukit Peninsula.
A super-fast, hollow left that breaks over shallow coral at the southern end of the Uluwatu reef. The wave is shorter than The Peak but significantly faster, requiring quick reactions and committed turns. Barrel opportunities are frequent but fleeting.
Dry season (April-October) with solid SW swells at 5-8ft. Low to mid tide when the reef shapes the wave into its fastest form. SE trade winds.
Through the Uluwatu cave at Suluban, then paddle south along the reef.
