Airport Lefts is a world-class left-hand reef break sitting near the Ngurah Rai airport runway, accessible only by boat.
A long, powerful left breaks over coral reef. The wave has excellent shape and produces barreling sections on solid swells. Being offshore, it often stays clean when onshore spots are blown out. A favorite of advanced surfers willing to make the boat trip.
Dry season (April-October) with solid SW swells at 4-8ft. Works on most tides. SE trade winds but the offshore location provides natural wind protection.
Boat only from Kuta Beach or Jimbaran Bay.
